WE ARE HAPPY TO INFORM YOU THAT WE ORGANIZE A GREAT COSSACK CHRISTMAS CONCERT WITH THE FAMOUS KOUBAN ENSEMBLE
THE CONCERT WILL TAKE PLACE AT ST. MICHAEL'S COLLEGE IN ETTERBEEK ON THURSDAY 11th DECEMBER AT 3PM AND AT 8 PM.
SOME INFORMATION ABOUT THE KOUBAN ENSEMBLE:
THE KOUBAN ENSEMBLE IS DIRECTED BY MR. ANDREI KIKENA,TENOR FROM THE NATIONAL CONSERVATORY OF KIEV, FORMER LEADER OF THE RED ARMY CHOIR AND LEADER OF CHOIRS OF THE NATIONAL MUSIC ACADEMY OF KIEV.
KOUBAN is an international well known group performing in the cathedrals and churches of France, Great Britain, Switzerland and of the USA.
Kouban is a contemporary ensamble, taking inspiration from the old traditions; it includes the most beautiful voices from the most famous opera houses like St. Petersbourg, Moscow or Kiev ones.
The audience will have the opportunity to listen to liturgical songs in Russian and in Ukranian, performed a capella, that will highlight the exceptionnal performances of the strong male voices: this will let the audience experience the atmosphere of the the great cloisters of Ukrania or of the region of Novgorod.
In the second part of the concert the Kouban Ensamble will perform famous popular Cossack and Russian songs.
After the concert, a drink will be offered to the attendees in the presence of the artists. A pleasure for the public.
We kindly invite you to this event The ticket price is 20€ and we inform that 25% of the proceeds from the concert will be allocated to the association "Femmes d'Europe" .
